Krista Berardi

LMHC, NCC

Krista Lee Berardi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor based in the Boston area, with over a decade of experience spanning community mental health, behavioral medicine, and digital health innovation. She began her career serving marginalized and underserved populations in community mental health settings, where she spent more than ten years in direct clinical care and progressive clinical leadership, eventually overseeing multidisciplinary teams and the fiscal and operational success of multiple outpatient clinics.

More recently, Krista has brought her clinical expertise into the digital mental health technology sector, currently serving as an advisor and the Manager of Clinician Experience at Allia Health, where she helps shape ethical and innovative approaches to care and advocates for solutions that clinicians feel genuinely excited to use. She also maintains a full-time private practice and offers consulting and mentoring to her fellow mental health clinicians.

Krista holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine's Division of Graduate Medical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston University. She is passionate about advancing the counseling profession by ensuring emerging technology reflects real clinical practice and ethical care standards. Krista is honored to bring her experience in both frontline community care and health technology to her work with the NBCC Foundation.
