Foundation Connections

The NBCC Foundation’s Counseling Resource Collection has helped counseling programs worldwide by supplying the materials needed to train future professionals. Through the Global Capacity Building Department, the program creates resource libraries for students and practitioners in regions where up-to-date counseling literature is often scarce or unaffordable.

You can make a difference. At the 2025 ACES conference, the NBCC Foundation will collect gently used counseling-related textbooks and journals published after 2010.

Drop off your donations at NBCC’s exhibitor booth on:

• Thursday, Oct. 9, 10:30 am–5 pm
• Friday, Oct. 10, 8 am–5 pm

The Foundation covers the cost of shipping to ensure these resources reach universities and organizations in countries such as Bhutan, Cambodia, Kenya, Malawi, Romania, Uganda, and Zambia. Every donation helps counseling students and professionals gain access to high-quality educational materials they may otherwise never receive.
